1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS LS6
This car is equipped with a non-original 396 Big Block V8 engine and features a heavy-duty cooling system, including an LS6 radiator, core support, and top plate—hard-to-find options. It has a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, a 12-bolt rear end, and comes with bucket seats and a center console. The functional cowl induction hood, along with the factory hood’s larger triangles and the 3/8″ and 5/16″ fuel lines, suggest that this car was originally an LS6. Built in Flint, Michigan, where build sheets for LS6 Chevelles are rare, this vehicle is painted in the correct color code 48 Forest Green. It has 14″ SS wheels with BF Goodrich white-letter radial tires and runs great. The older paint job shows some wear but remains presentable for driving. While it originally had a 454 LS6 engine, it now has a 396 Big Block engine, and we acknowledge that it no longer retains the original LS6 tachometer. We invite you to visit our showroom to see and drive this Chevelle in person.
While we strive to provide high-quality muscle cars with accurate descriptions and understand the importance of transparency in vehicle sales, we have not built, modified, or personally owned this vehicle. Whether it is consigned or owned by our dealership, we do not possess the complete history of this vehicle. We are here to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase and encourage independent third-party inspections. Please verify the availability of the advertised vehicle, as our listings are posted on multiple sites and can sell at any time. If you choose to purchase sight unseen (a common option for many customers), you accept the vehicle AS IS and WHERE IS and understand that we cannot address concerns post-purchase. Therefore, it is essential to resolve all inquiries before buying. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but this should be independently verified for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm the existence of options, accessories, and the vehicle’s condition before the sale. Financing is available at low rates, and we offer vehicle shipping from our showroom to your garage. A classic car warranty can also be purchased from a third party. For more information, please contact our sales associate or company representative. Our team is available anytime via phone or text. Thank you for your interest!
