1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Custom Z/88
This stunning 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Custom Z/88 features a Big Block 427/435H V8 engine and a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, paired with a 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. The engine is a 427 Big Block (a 1969 block with 1967 high-performance rectangular port heads), built to L88 specifications. It includes an MSD high-performance billet distributor paired with an MSD 6AL ignition box. The Muncie 4-speed transmission is equipped with an 11-inch performance clutch. The rear end is a 12-bolt posi-traction with 4:11 gears.
Additional features include a RS headlight conversion with a Detroit Speed electric opener kit, new front and rear bumpers with deluxe rear bumper guards, and a new Holley 850 dual feed carburetor with an electric choke. The car has a new fuel pump, lines, tank, and sending unit, along with a new gauge cluster, gauges, dash, and wiring harnesses.
The electrical system has been updated with new engine, front lighting, and taillight wiring harnesses. It’s equipped with a 4-wheel Baer disc brake kit featuring a rear e-brake, Hotchkis front and rear springs, and heavy-duty sway bars. The car rolls on 17-inch Budnik wheels with new Nitto tires (less than 100 miles driven).
Inside, you’ll find a Custom Auto Sound radio with a CD changer and Bluetooth, along with new TMI Sport custom seats in black/white houndstooth and suede with red stitching. The interior also features new carpet and underlayment, and new front and rear door panels. This Camaro is in excellent condition and ready to be enjoyed at car shows and cruise-ins.
